Commercial and Business Development Executive

We are a growing space technology company in need of an experienced Business Development Executive who has an engineering background with a proven track record in commercial sales achievement. An ideal candidate must be excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills. To succeed in this field, you need to be extremely commercially aware, customer-obsessed, target-driven, proactive, and be able to adapt quickly.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Create and develop commercial opportunities to increase the company’s income through existing and potential new clients
  • Produce and deliver a sales action plan which supports the company’s strategic objectives, achieving sales targets and using initiative to take corrective measures as needed
  • Identify new market opportunities and successful business proposal that secure new deals, contracts, and long term relationships
  • Target, develop, and maintain business relationships with customers and the company’s partners
  • Evaluate the current performance of the business and find ways to increase its full potential

POSITION REQUIREMENTS
Required qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or related field (Engineering background is an advantage)
  • Proven track record of sales targets, the value of deals/contracts and/or number of accounts handled and value of the accounts
  • Ability to develop good relationships with customers and potential customers
  • Experienced in project management and/or sales
  • High attention to detail and focus on fact-based decision making
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, communication, and negotiation skills

  • Deal making, pitching, and sales mindset with an ability to think creatively and adapt to change
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills
  • Able to generate sales results and building strong commercial deals to the company
  • Able to work under pressure to meet deadlines
