Director of Marketing and Customer Experience

Are you a creative marketing with a proven track record of developing markets to drive sales? Then we have a challenging and exciting role in the heart of Bangkok for Thailand’s newest satellite and space technology company.

You will develop and execute new concepts, business models, channels and partners to position mu Space as a market leader and improve overall revenue, profit and loss statement, and valuation metrics. As the Director of Marketing and Customer Experience, you will oversee all marketing activities, including support for product analysis, promotion and outreach, and provide support in sales lead generation, pipeline volume, and conversion rates and velocity.


    • Lead the development and implementation of plans, strategies and processes for marketing to achieve the company’s short- and long-term business objectives
    • Prepare timely and accurate analysis of business revenues, gross margins, market shares, brand loyalty and client satisfaction
    • Implement best practices in marketing management, including the use of CRM, to improve business processes
    • Lead monthly, quarterly and annual marketing planning and reporting activity
    • Communicate marketing information into understandable and executable strategic plans to executive management
    • Build and maintain strong relations with customers
    • Understand customer requirements, market trends and competitor’s offerings
    • Manage product pricing, customer proposals and quotations
    • Prepare reports on the status of customers for internal and external use
    • Track and forecast metrics (example: quarterly customer updates and annual projections)



Required qualifications:

  • 35 to 40 years old
  • Thai or foreigner based in Thailand only (visa and work permit to be provided)
  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in marketing, business development or engineering. MBA is preferred.
  • Minimum 7 years work experience in a marketing or business development with a technology, telecom, satellite or B2B company
  • Minimum 1 year work experience in staff management or training
  • 700 and up TOEIC score, or excellent English communication skills

Preferred skills:

  • Advanced Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills
  • Familiar with B2B marketing, techniques and software
  • Driven for results with a proven history exceeding marketing targets
  • Proven experience in presenting marketing information to executive leaderships
  • Strong interpersonal and client-facing skills
  • Able to work in a fast paced, autonomously driven and demanding start-up workplace
  • Willing to work extended hours on need basis to meet deadlines
